Biography

Maria has vast experience in education research, the software development industry, and entreprenuership.  Her software development industry experience includes over 15 years as a software project manager with skills in data collection, analysis and management, leadership and communication, and full project life cycle, from design to implementation.  She is analytical and detail-oriented and has proven success at managing teams, driving progress toward project milestones, and on-time delivery.  Maria‚Äôs teaching and research in STEM has led to several published articles and invitations to speak, globally. Maria holds a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, master's in Software Engineering, and a doctorate in Education, Curriculum and Instruction.  Currently, Maria oversees the development of K-12 education products for Intellifunda, the company she founded in 2015.
