Julie Loving is an accomplished insights professional, with a long history of providing strategic guidance to Fortune 500 brands based on strong consumer understanding and insight generation.

Julie’s background includes both sound qualitative applications and strong quantitative and analytics-based story telling for diverse internal and external stakeholders. She is well versed in insights generation and her tool box ranges from ethnography ,and traditional qualitative work through to robust quantitative tools. She is known for her creative, out of the box problem solving, always being the objective voice of the consumer.

She has worked in a variety of organizations, including S. C. Johnson Wax, General Mills, Universal Orlando, AstraZeneca, McNeil, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Julie’s career has spanned the globe, having lived and worked in China, Japan, and the UK. With a passion for innovation and meeting consumer’s needs, she has brought new tools and techniques to several organizations to better inform marketing decisions.

She has worked on iconic brands such as Abilify, Symbicort, Raid, Glade, Tylenol, and Immodium. She has worked in the global emerging CV (anti-platelet) area as well. She has led new product development efforts and has launched new snack brands in Asia, developed pipelines of new product concepts in OTCs, and identified opportunity markets globally for new theme parks.

Julie holds an MS in Communications from the University of Illinois. Her passions are around hiking, diving, cooking, and exploring the world.
